Teens are exploring a new sense of freedom. Part of the individualization process for teens means separating from parents and exploring the world. This process can be tough to navigate as teens practice more independence and make mistakes along the way.

The parenting teens section offers a wide variety of topics about teen discipline, teen, sexuality, teen health and teen culture. Teens today deal with things that didn't exist 20 years ago such as sexting, facebook and MP3 players.

Articles on parenting teens include how to teach responsibility instead of punishing teens, online quizzes for daughters to decide if a boyfriend is controlling and how to reframe saying "no" as a gift to teens.
